The August calendar is almost done and one thing in the works is a trip to a professional baseball game (which was suggested by a few people). We'll be going to the watch the Los Angeles Dodgers play the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, August 19th at 1:10 p.m. This is the annual Christian Family Day at Dodger Stadium. Tickets are $14. After the game Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato from the hit animated series "Veggie Tales" will be on hand for pictures with kids in attendance. Also, there will be a live concert by Christian band Hawk Nelson and Dodger player testimonies. We'll leave right after our worship service on Sunday morning and eat Dodger dogs for lunch - what could be better?
