The above interactive website is encouraging, fascinating, relevant and uplifting. As the site says, "Some find God at church on Sundays, but where does God bubble up in our lives the other 6 days of the week? Sometimes we recognize God's presence quite clearly and sometimes we need help from others: Where have you found God today? and Where do you need to find God today?" Click on the various bubbles to see where others are finding God. And feel free to submit your own submissions - what a wonderful blessing to see where God is at work in the lives of others and where we find Him in our own lives.

National Day of Prayer

This Thursday, May 1st is the National Day of Prayer (it's also Ascension Day on the Christian calendar....cool, huh?) so let's break our regular schedules to honor God and take special time to pray. We'll watch the latest Nooma video on prayer and bring our hearts before God. This event is open to everyone. We'll be at the church building from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

It's time to raise some money for the Redlands Church of Christ Youth Group and what better way than cleaning out our homes and garages and donating items for a huge Church Parking Lot Sale! Books, clothes, linens, toys, knick knacks, dishes, furniture...you name it, we'll take it! Remember, one man's junk is another man's treasure. Blow off that junk and let another man treasure it! We have the sale on the schedule for the first weekend in June so that gives you a little time to get organized! We'll need the items no later than June 1st so we can tag them and price them in time for the sale. There are some great events coming up we would love to bring the teens at Redlands Church of Christ to and hope to raise some funds with your generous donations. Anything that doesn't sell will be donated locally. You can drop off items in the church breezeway marked Youth Group, or box and mail it to 1000 Roosevelt Rd, Redlands, CA 92374 or contact us to pick it up. God bless and Happy Springtime!

The Rise of King David

Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday to Lifehouse Theater to see The Rise of King David. I thought it was a great Biblical musical (perhaps a bit too long). But I would definitely recommend it and appreciated the dramatic retelling of David who the scriptures tell us was a man after God's own heart.
